Książka sama w sobie też jest dziwna. Opowiada historie uzbrojonego w najnowocześniejszy sprzęt dostępny w roku 2007 batalionu (około 12 czołgów PT-91 Twardy, 4 haubice Krab, klucz Mi-24 z elektronika z Apatche, oddział GROM oraz sporo innego sprzętu i amunicji + oddział US Marines) zostaje przeniesiony na linie frontu 1 Września 1939. Stop.

Książka jest masakryczna:

Do jej plusów można zaliczyć całkiem interesującą akcję, sporą znajomość przez autora zagadnień wojskowości i orientacyjne możliwości sprzętu, jaki daje bohaterom oraz sprawna, momentami wręcz interesująca forma napisania książki

Do niebywałych minusów należy zaliczyć poziom rozwoju emocjonalnego bohaterów, który zatrzymał się gdzieś w okolicach pantofelka. Ja wiem, że jest wojna, ale ci ludzie mają gadkę, jakby byli o wiele bardziej inteligentni.

Tak czy siak: dawno mnie nie żadna książka nie zatrzymała mnie bez snu do 3 nad ranem... Ona chyba po prostu ma COŚ w sobie...
